Upcoming speaking engagements
I know I've sort of dropped of the radar - I'm in between contracts and so am busy arranging my next assignment(s).

Meanwhile, here's where I'm going to be - and where I've been recently.

The week of 22 February I was lucky enough to assist Todd Bleeker of Mindsharp in delivery of his SharePoint 2010 Beta Development course. SharePoint 2010 and all Microsoft has done in Visual Studio 2010 to assist development for SharePoint is VERY exciting! Makes me want to be a developer again! Who knows - maybe I will... In addition to a week of jam-packed content, the evenings were full hanging out with the NoVa crowd at a handful of SharePints. Thanks to Dan Usher for arranging all those - great times.

I'm going to be using some of what I learned in Todd's class in a talk I'll be doing at the Roanoke Code Camp scheduled for Saturday, March 13th. I'll speak on customizing the branding of a SharePoint 2010 with user controls built in Visual Studio 2010. I'll also be talking on using PowerShell to manage SharePoint - both the current version and 2010.

I'll also be speaking at the Richmond Code Camp - think it's something on SharePoint and Visual Studio 2010 - need to double check on what I submitted!

I also attendded the SharePoint Tech Conference in San Francisco the week of February 9th. I can't wait to get working on SharePoint 2010 deployments! Between the conference in Vegas, San Francisco and Todd's 2010 Dev course, I'm itching to get working on some 2010 implementations.

I haven't made any SHarePoint Saturdays recently - since our local one here in Va Beach on Jan 9th. I may make the one in Charlotte on April 10th - it depends upon where I land for my next work assignment. We'll see....

Hope to see you all somewhere at a future SharePoint event.
