SharePoint Saturday Virginia Beach was this past Saturday, Jan 10th - well, in, uh, Virginia Beach!   ;>  I'm pouring over all the evals (thanks) and we're getting great feedback.  I'm putting some quotes from attendees comments up on the SharePoint Saturday site.

 

But most impressive of all are these blogs by some of the biggest names in the SharePoint space!  Check out what Joel Oleson and John Holliday had to say about the first SharePoint Saturday!  I'm thrilled!  I can't thank the folks enough  who helped make this happen!  World-class speakers helped draw our audience and inspired the rest of us peons to stand shoulder to shoulder with the legends and speak too.  The world-class facility, the Va Beach Advanced Technology Center helped make this a successful event.  Thanks to the Va Beach City Public Schools for allowing us the use of their killer facility and their wonderful staff who made running this event seamless.  We also had an AWESOME volunteer team consisting of Robin, Jessica, Kevin, Trina, Michelle, Bonnie and Erin.  They helped everyone navigate the day from Registration to the free food our sponsors (thank you sponsors, too!) donated, to running for chairs in the popular sessions.  Thanks guys.  No one knows better than I all you did - and no one appreciates it more than I!

 

And last but certainly not least, thanks to the community who came out and made all the work worthwhile.  We think you got a lot out of the event and we look forward to bringing you more great content in the future.
